Filters the air in a 340 ft² space in about 12.5 min¹ (4.8x an hour, based on AHAM recommended removal rate) or up to 1,632ft² in one hour on high speed to effectively lower particle levels and maintain a comfortable environment in medium spaces like primary bedrooms and playrooms.
An outer fabric washable pre-filter starts the process by removing larger particles. This also extends the life of the main filter.

While they look similar, our Blue Pure 311 is not the same air purifier as the Blue Pure 311 Auto, which features our upgraded auto-mode functionality and increased Clean Air Delivery Rate (CADR) performance. Due to the size difference, each respective model will have its own replacement filter and pre-filter accessories. All other features stay relatively the same. With many of the same features of the 411 model, the 311 differs in its slightly larger overall size, larger recommended room size (up to 340 ft² in 12.5 min), and higher Clean Air Delivery Rate (CADR). It also features our newer pre-filter colors!
To extend the Limited Warranty from one year to two (2) years, simply complete the product registration form in the 'Warranty' section of your customer account, within (60) days of purchase or register through the Blueair mobile app.
Vacuum the exterior of the fabric pre-filter to remove dust as often as you'd like. When the pre-filter requires a deeper clean, it can be washed on a gentle, low-temperature cycle in the washing machine. Hang to dry.
Press and hold down the LED button for 10 seconds to reset the replacement filter indicator.
The LED indicator will turn yellow after 5 months of operation to warn that it's almost time to change the filter. When the indicator light turns red (one month later), it’s time to change the main filter.
The lights on the LED touch-button indicate the selected fan speed setting. Touch once to set to Night mode (low fan speed, no LEDs lit). This is recommended for uninterrupted sleep at night. Press twice for everyday mode (medium fan speed) and three times for boost mode (high fan speed). Press a fourth time to turn the air purifier off.
