Replacing the particle filter in your Blue Pure Fan ensures it can clean the air as it cools. Unlike standard fans that distribute dirty air throughout the room, this fan + particle filter combo captures large particles like pollen and dust from your indoor air - circulating clean, cooling air back into your room.
When it's time to replace your filter (about every six months), start by unplugging your fan. Gently press the release buttons on either side until you hear a click, and lift off the back frame. Remove the old filter and replace it with a new one. Click the frame back in to place and plug back in. Easy.
Genuine Blueair filters are specifically designed to enable more air flow through the filter media. When combined with electrostatic filtration this results in faster cleaning than traditional HEPA filtration.
This filter is recyclable, so the only thing you're adding back into the environment is clean air. Please check your local recycling facilities for availability.
Filter fibers resist bacteria and mold growth, to ensure you'll never put bacteria and mold back into the air.
To maintain optimum performance, we recommend changing your filter about once every 6-months when used 24 hours a day.
